This 7-Up pound cake is a moist and delicious dessert, perfect for any occasion. The 7-Up adds a unique flavor and makes the cake extra tender.

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 large eggs

  • 1 cup 7-Up

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the 7-Up, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
