Angel Chicken and Rice

A delicious and easy chicken and rice casserole that's perfect for a weeknight meal. It's creamy, flavorful, and the whole family will love it!

  • 1.5 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Long-grain rice
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup 10.75 oz can
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.25 cup Butter, melted
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, combine rice, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  • Place chicken pieces evenly over the rice mixture.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through.
  • Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
