Apple Cake

This delicious apple cake is easy to make and perfect for any occasion. Enjoy the sweet and tart flavors of fresh apples in every bite.

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups apples peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the chopped apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the apple mixture over the batter. Top with the remaining batter and apple mixture.
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely before serving.
