Apple Pie Bread

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.75 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3 cups Diced apples (Granny Smith)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Nutmeg

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • In a separate bowl, toss the diced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Gently fold the apples into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
