Bacon Egg Cheese Casserole

A delicious breakfast casserole filled with crispy bacon, eggs, and melty cheese.

  • 8 slices bacon crispy and crumbled
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar recommended
  • 1.5 cups milk whole milk preferred
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 6 slices bread cubed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, then crumble.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Place bread cubes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle crumbled bacon and half of the cheese over the bread.
  • Pour egg mixture over the bread, bacon, and cheese.
  • Top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until eggs are set and casserole is golden.

Notes

Serve with fresh fruit or a side salad for a complete meal.
