Bacon Fried Rice

This Bacon Fried Rice is a delicious twist on the classic, made with crispy bacon bits and fresh vegetables for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon chopped into small pieces
  • 2 cups cooked rice preferably cold
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 0.5 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Push the onions to the side and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble until set.
  • Add the cooked rice, frozen peas, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pepper. Stir-fry until heated through.
  • Stir in the crispy bacon before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add any of your favorite vegetables, such as bell peppers or carrots, to this recipe.
