Baked Ziti Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 28 ounces can crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook ziti according to package directions.
In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, and pepper.
In a separate bowl, combine crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, and garlic powder.
In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the ziti, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the tomato sauce.
Repeat layers.
Top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted and golden brown.
