Banana Bread

A delicious and moist banana bread recipe perfect for breakfast or a snack.

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Butter softened
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3 Ripe bananas mashed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the mashed bananas. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
