Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and eggs until well blended.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in walnuts.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
