Preparation Steps
Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned on all sides.
Add onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
Pour in beef broth and soy sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add ramen noodles and mushrooms to the pot. Cook according to package directions, usually 3-5 minutes, until noodles are tender.
Stir in sesame oil. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
Notes
For a spicier ramen, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. You can also add other vegetables like carrots or spinach.
