  • 1.5 pounds bacon thick-cut, diced
  • 2 cups onions finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup brew coffee strong
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup pure
  • 0.5 cup bourbon

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add onions and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.
  • Add brown sugar, coffee, maple syrup, and bourbon to the pan. Stir to combine.
  • Add bacon back to the pan and simmer until the mixture thickens to a jam-like consistency.
  • Let cool, and store in airtight containers. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

This jam can be kept in the refrigerator for up to a month.
