Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
In the prepared baking dish, layer hash browns, cooked sausage, onion, and green pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the top.
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
