Broccoli Salad Recipe

A delicious and healthy broccoli salad recipe perfect for a potluck or side dish.

  • 1 head Broccoli
  • 0.5 cup Bacon bits
  • 1 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 0.5 cup Red onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon White wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets and blanch for 2-3 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, bacon bits, sunflower seeds, and red onion.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to coat.
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

This salad can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
