Brownie Bottom Cheesecake

This delicious brownie bottom cheesecake combines the rich flavors of creamy cheesecake layered on top of a fudgy brownie base.

  • 1.5 cups sugar divided
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • In a bowl, mix cocoa powder, melted butter, and 1 cup of sugar.
  • Spread the brownie mixture in the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes until the cheesecake layer is set.
  • Let it cool before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, top with chocolate shavings before serving.
