Fudgy brownie cookies studded with chocolate chunks and Valentine's M&Ms, crisp edges with chewy centers.

  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 0.6667 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.125 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks or chips dark or semisweet
  • 1 cup Valentine M&Ms

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together the powdered sugar, salt, cocoa, and cornstarch in a large bowl. Add egg whites and vanilla and stir until a thick mixture forms.
  • Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Scoop 2 tablespoon sized balls of dough onto the cookie sheets and press M&Ms on top.
  • Bake for 11 to 13 minutes until mostly set. Let cool on the sheets briefly before transferring to a rack.

Notes

These fudgy brownie cookies stay soft on the inside and crisp around the edges. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
