Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Fold in chopped pecans.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
