Cabbage Fat Burning Soup

A hearty and healthy soup designed to aid in weight loss. This flavorful soup is packed with vegetables and is low in calories.

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 2 onions onions, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 carrots carrots, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 48 oz vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • In a large pot, sauté the onions, celery, and carrots until softened.
  • Add the cabbage, diced tomatoes, vegetable broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

This soup is even better the next day! You can add other vegetables you enjoy.
