Cajun Chicken Pasta

This creamy Cajun chicken pasta is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish, perfect for a weeknight meal. Tender chicken, spicy Cajun seasoning, and a rich, creamy sauce combine with pasta for a satisfying dinner.

  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 0.5 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces Pasta (penne or your choice)
  • 0.25 cup Diced red bell pepper
  • 0.25 cup Diced onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with Cajun seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately. Add a side salad for a complete meal!
