Cannoli squares

These delicious cannoli squares are a perfect bite-sized dessert, combining a crispy pastry shell with a creamy, sweet ricotta filling. Perfect for any occasion!

  • 15 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 0.75 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup Mini chocolate chips

Pastry Ingredients

  • 1 package Puff pastry sheets (thawed)
  • 1 egg Egg (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unfold puff pastry and cut into squares. Brush with egg wash.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool.
  • Cut the baked pastry in half horizontally and add filling.
