Caramel Apple Cookies
These chewy caramel apple cookies are the perfect fall treat! They combine the flavors of apple pie with the chewy texture of a cookie and a delicious caramel drizzle. Easy to make and irresistibly good!

Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
Gently fold in the diced apples and caramel bits.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use brown butter. You can also drizzle melted caramel over the cooled cookies for extra caramel goodness.
