Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add onion and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil.
Add rice, stir, and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Let it melt.
Serve immediately and garnish with your favorite taco toppings.
