Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, and brown sugar. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until they start to become tender-crisp.
Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
Stir in sesame oil. Serve immediately over rice.
Notes
Serve with cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions, if desired.
