Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry

A quick and easy Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry recipe, perfect for a weeknight meal. Tender chicken and crisp-tender broccoli florets are tossed in a savory sauce.

  • 1.5 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 lb Broccoli florets
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Preparation Steps

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, and brown sugar. Set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, until they start to become tender-crisp.
  • Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Stir in sesame oil. Serve immediately over rice.

Notes

Serve with cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions, if desired.
