Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine chicken broth, carrots, celery, and onion. Bring to a boil.
Add chicken and thyme. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
Stir in egg noodles and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use homemade chicken broth. You can also add other vegetables like peas or corn.
