Chicken Parmesan

Classic Chicken Parmesan recipe, with crispy chicken cutlets, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese.

  • 4 boneless, skinless Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 8 oz Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pound chicken breasts to 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Place chicken in a baking dish. Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly and chicken is cooked through.

Notes

Serve with your favorite pasta.
