Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cookies

These cookies combine the richness of cheesecake with the classic taste of chocolate chip cookies.

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  • Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  • Beat in the egg until just incorporated.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

These cookies are best enjoyed fresh and stored in an airtight container.
