Instructions
Get Started
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
Make the Cookie Filling
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the vanilla extract and egg.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Assemble and Bake
Pour the cookie dough into the prepared pie crust.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
Let cool completely before serving.
