Preparation Steps
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Gently fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
Carefully fold in the whipped cream.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Divide the mousse into serving glasses and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate. Garnish with chocolate shavings or fresh berries before serving.
