  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar for rolling

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until well combined. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and coat with powdered sugar.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
