Cinnamon Rock Candy

This cinnamon-flavored rock candy is a delightful treat that makes for a perfect homemade gift.

  • 2.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon extract
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring for color

Preparation Steps

  • In a large saucepan, mix sugar, water, and corn syrup. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  • Bring to a boil without stirring and allow it to reach 300°F on a candy thermometer.
  • Remove from heat and carefully add cinnamon extract and food coloring.
  • Pour onto a greased pan and allow to cool before breaking into pieces.
