Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake

A delightful coffee cake with the flavors of a cinnamon roll, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk until smooth.
  • Pour half of the melted butter into the batter and stir until thoroughly combined.
  • Pour batter into prepared dish. Evenly sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
  • Pour remaining melted butter over the batter and swirl with a knife.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Notes

Serve warm with a drizzle of icing if desired.
