Classic Crab Dip

This creamy, flavorful crab dip is the perfect appetizer for any occasion. It's easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser.

  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup green onions, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the crab meat and green onions.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the dip to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  • Serve hot with crackers, vegetables, or toasted bread.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
