Crock Pot Beef Gyros

Slow cooker beef gyros are easy to make and incredibly flavorful. This recipe uses simple ingredients and requires minimal prep time for a delicious weeknight meal.

  • 2 lbs Beef Chuck Roast
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 1 tbsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Place beef chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, ranch seasoning, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour mixture over the beef roast.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until beef is tender.
  • Shred beef with two forks and serve in warm pita bread with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the beef overnight. You can also add vegetables like onions and peppers to the slow cooker.
