  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 24 ounces Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar tomato sauce

Preparation Steps

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add the onion and garlic to the beef and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Layer the lasagna noodles, meat sauce, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese in a slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the noodles are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of Italian seasoning to the meat sauce.
