Preparation Steps
Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly browned.
Place seared pork chops in the slow cooker.
Pour chicken broth and sprinkle with dry onion soup mix over the pork chops.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until pork chops are tender.
