In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In another bowl whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; a few lumps are fine.
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and grease lightly. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface, flip and cook until golden brown.
Serve warm with fresh berries and maple syrup for a festive touch.
