Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla extract and milk.
Gradually add the flour and baking soda, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully drop the cookie dough balls into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove the fried cookie dough bites with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
These are best served warm. You can sprinkle them with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate syrup for an extra treat!
