Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, beat butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let the bars cool completely before frosting with powdered sugar mixed with a little water to desired consistency.
Notes
For a more festive look, add your favorite sprinkles on top of the frosting before it sets.
