Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef 80% lean
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 pieces mozzarella balls approximately 0.75 inches in diameter
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 0.25 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Take a small amount of meat mixture and flatten it in the palm of your hand. Place a mozzarella ball in the center and form a meatball around it.
  • Wrap each meatball with a piece of biscuit dough, pinching the edges to seal.
  • Place the wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Serve with warm marinara sauce on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding chopped parsley to the butter before brushing it on the bombs.
