Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add rice and toast for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Pour in chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed.
Fluff with a fork and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of parmesan cheese or fresh herbs before serving.
