Garlic Butter Rice

A simple and flavorful garlic butter rice recipe, perfect as a side dish or a light meal.

  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  • Add rice and toast for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Pour in chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed.
  • Fluff with a fork and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of parmesan cheese or fresh herbs before serving.
