Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and molasses.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
Place cookies on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set.
Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
