Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
Add molasses, boiling water, melted butter, and baking soda; mix until smooth.
Beat in eggs until well blended.
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
