Grape Soda Cupcakes

These Grape Soda Cupcakes are light, fluffy, and bursting with grape flavor! A fun and easy treat for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

Cupcakes

  • 1 box White Cake Mix
  • 12 oz Grape Soda Use chilled soda
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Large Eggs

Frosting

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Softened
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Grape Soda Or milk, if preferred
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, grape soda, oil, and eggs. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cupcakes cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • While the cupcakes are cooling, prepare the frosting. In a large bowl, beat the butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, alternating with the grape soda, until smooth.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract. Frost the cooled cupcakes and decorate as desired.
