Greek Hummus

A delicious and easy-to-make Greek hummus recipe, perfect as an appetizer or snack. This creamy hummus is made with chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil.

  • 1.5 cup Chickpeas (canned, rinsed and drained)
  • 0.25 cup Tahini
  • 0.25 cup Lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil
  • 0.25 cup Water (ice cold)
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cumin (ground)

Preparation Steps

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
  • Process until smooth and creamy, adding more water if needed.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  • Serve with pita bread, vegetables, or as a dip.

Notes

Garnish with olive oil, paprika, and a sprinkle of parsley before serving.
