Ground Beef Casserole

A hearty and flavorful ground beef casserole, perfect for a weeknight dinner. This recipe is easy to follow and uses simple ingredients.

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 1 cup Diced carrots
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 cups Egg noodles
  • 0.5 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess fat.
  • Add onion, carrots, and diced tomatoes to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in beef broth and egg noodles. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
  • Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Serve hot. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
