Guinness soda bread
This easy Guinness soda bread uses self-rising flour, brown sugar, and a bottle of Guinness beer to create a soft, rich quick bread that's perfect served warm with butter.

Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8x4-inch or 9x5-inch bread pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Whisk self-rising flour and brown sugar until no lumps remain. Stir in beer and 3 tablespoons of melted butter until batter is thick.
Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Brush remaining 1 tablespoon of melted butter on top.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Let bread cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature, plain or with butter.
Notes
Store leftover bread wrapped tightly; it freezes well and can be reheated or thawed for easy serving later.
