Hamburger Potato Casserole

A comforting and delicious casserole made with ground beef, potatoes, and cheese. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2 pounds Russet Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup (10.75 oz)
  • 0.5 cup Milk

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in salt and pepper.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked ground beef mixture, potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
