Hamburger Rice Casserole

A comforting and flavorful Hamburger Rice Casserole, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Ground beef, rice, and vegetables are baked to perfection in a creamy sauce.

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1.5 cups Uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1 cup Diced onion
  • 1 cup Diced green bell pepper
  • 10.75 oz Cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Brown ground beef in a large skillet; drain excess fat.
  • Add onion and green pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  • Stir in rice, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Serve hot. Can be topped with additional cheese, sour cream, or chives.
