Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking up into small pieces, until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Add prepared gravy and stock to the beef mixture. Stir until well combined. Then stir in frozen peas. Remove from heat and transfer to a 9x9-inch baking dish.
Top the beef mixture evenly with frozen tater tots. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and the mixture is bubbly.
Serve hot. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Notes
This casserole is a delicious and easy weeknight dinner. You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef if desired. For a shortcut, frozen hashbrowns can replace peas for added texture.
