Instructions
Preparation Steps
Combine the shoyu sauce, brown sugar, water, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a saucepan.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the chicken thighs to the sauce, cover and simmer for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
Serve the chicken hot with the sauce over rice.
Notes
