Preparation Steps

  • Cook the sushi rice according to package directions.
  • Mix rice vinegar into the cooked rice.
  • Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo rolling mat.
  • Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
  • Arrange salmon, cucumber, and avocado in a line across the center of the rice.
  • Using the bamboo mat, roll the sushi tightly.
  • Slice the roll into 6-8 pieces.
  • Serve immediately with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
